What to expect in a phone consult with Your Infertility Specialist: Our consults are detailed, personalized and thorough.

Prior to your appointment time, Your Infertility Specialist will have already spent 30 minutes to an hour reading your intake forms, researching your current diagnosis or assessing your lab work  and compiling a list of questions to ask you.

During your phone appointment 30-45 minutes is dedicated to private, personalized, investigative questioning about your current diagnosis, tests or recommended testing that has yet to be done. You will have our expert's undivided attention where she will apply 20 years experience to delving deep into traditional Chinese medicine patterns and possible western medical reasons you may not be conceiving or why you may not be able to hold a pregnancy. After all your questions and her questions have been answered that is where the real expertise weighs in.

Your Infertility Specialist, Kristen Burris, will create a customized herbal medicine recommendation using 2-6 different herbal medicines derived from over 2,000 years of medical knowledge. The number of medicinals will depend on the complexity of your personal infertility or miscarriage case. She will also devise a complex and personalized evidence based scientific recommendations for vitamins and supplements known to support regular menstruation, ovulation, dissolve cysts or fibroids or endometriosis, help with uterine lining, egg quality and semen quality, strengthen luteal phases, modulate auto-immune conditions, support thyroid and adrenals or a combination of several of these challenges. This is once again customized for the patients needs.

This extensive evaluation takes on average 2-3 hours including reading and research before the phone consultation, the phone consultation and investigation of your diseases, patterns or conditions and the customized recommendations compiled and sent to the patient through our private online natural medicine pharmacy. The patient can choose to do all the recommendations which is suggested for the fastest and most successful results. We also strongly recommend the male partner or husband to schedule their own individualized consultation and evaluation of their semen analysis for similar success since couples who treat simultaneously get pregnant the fastest and the male partner contribute 50% of the genetic material.

Nothing is ever required; purchases of any herbal medicine or supplement are optional for the patient.

Some patients cannot afford to do all the suggested medicinals. At that time we suggest choosing half of the recommended medicinals. Take those for three months and then the next three months take the other half of the recommendations. Because herbal medicine is personalized and customized and being a master herbalist takes years, if not decades to become an expert, we always suggest starting with the herbal medicine.

It's been proven effective in billions of people over thousands of years and has been proven in studies to work three times faster than IVF (multiple in-vitro fertilizations on average takes one full year to conceive a healthy pregnancy) and most importantly, it’s been proven to be twice as successful as compared to IVF. Most of the energy, effort and customization is done before and after the actual consult. We then advise patients to do less expensive and shorter follow-up consultation once every three months until pregnancy is achieved. This too is optional for the patient but we never advise a patient to stay on the same herbal medicine and supplements indefinitely. Health changes, new tests are run, menstrual cycles change, semen analysis change and with that, our expertise and customization also changes.

We also offer a separate appointment that can be done in person or over the phone for nutrition to enhance fertility, improve egg quality and improve sperm quality. This too is customized and is an option patients can choose to take advantage of or skip altogether.
